What is Chlamydia?

Chlamydia is the most common bacterial sexually transmitted infection (STI), as many as 1 in 10 sexually active young people have it.

In most cases it has no symptoms – so you could have Chlamydia and not know it.

It affects men and women and can lead to more serious problems such as infertility but it’s easily treated once diagnosed.
